Annelies Marie "Anne" Frank  ( 12 Juni   1929  – Februari/Maret  1945 ) adalah seorang perempuan keturunan  Yahudi  yang sangat dikenal karena tulisannya dalam sebuah  buku harian  ketika ia bersembunyi bersama keluarga dan tujuh orang lainnya di Achterhuis,  Amsterdam  semasa pendudukan  Nazi  di  Belanda  pada  Perang Dunia II . Setelah bersembunyi selama dua tahun, mereka dikhianati dan dibawa ke  kamp konsentrasi  yang mengakibatkan seluruh penghuni Achterhuis tewas kecuali Otto Frank, ayah Anne. Saat Otto kembali ke Amsterdam, asistennya yang bernama Miep Gies menyerahkan buku harian...
